BOOK REVIEW: Dear Bridget, I Want You by Penelope Ward & Vi Keeland

DEAR BRIDGET, I WANT YOU
(A standalone novel)
A Contemporary Romance Novel

New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestselling Authors
Penelope Ward & Vi Keeland

Dear Bridget,
I’m writing this letter because it’s highly doubtful I’ll ever garner the courage to say this to your face.

So, here goes.

We’re totally wrong for each other. You’re the proper single mum with a good head on your shoulders. I’m just the carefree British doctor passing through town and temporarily living in your converted garage until I head back to England.

But here’s the thing… for some bloody reason, I can’t stop thinking about you in very inappropriate ways.

I want you.

The only reason I’m even admitting all of this to you right now is because I don’t believe it’s one-sided. I notice your eyes when you look at me, too. And as crass as I appear when we’re joking around about sex, my attraction to you is not a joke.

So, what’s the purpose of this note? I guess it’s a reminder that we’re adults, that sex is healthy and natural, and that you can find me just through the door past the kitchen. More specifically, it’s to let you know that I’m leaving said door cracked open from now on in case you’d like to visit me in the middle of the night sometime.

No questions asked.

Think about it.

Or don’t.

Whatever you choose.

It’s doubtful I’ll even end up sliding this letter under your door anyway.

REVIEW: 5 STARS
Oh. My. Gosh. Let me start right off by saying that when I first started reading or even promoting this book, I had absolutely NO IDEA what it was even about. I CHOSE not to read the blurb. I don't read other people's reviews and I don't go around looking at what others are saying. Why? Because I absolutely LOVE going in blind and devouring books by authors that are on my favorites list. Penelope Ward & Vi Keeland have become THE author duo that I will always automatically one-click and trust that their story will be fantastic.

Well, let me just say that as always, I was BLOWN AWAY.  These two authors have written quite a few books together already so I always wonder, what else can they possibly come up with? Well, shit. I don't know how they do it, but they need to keep it up!!!!!!

They always create these witty, sexy heroes you can't help but INSTANTLY love, and their heroines are just as amazing too! The connection between their main characters is ALWAYS TOP-NOTCH. Like....I'm at a loss for words when trying to describe just how well Ward & Keeland develop their books. From fantastic characters to addictive storylines, they are always a MUST. Always. If you're ever in a book funk, pick up any of their books. You will fall in love with reading all over again. I guarantee it.

Simon & Bridget. What can I even say about them other than YOU NEED TO READ THEIR STORY? I swear there were scenes that made my heart's heart swoon just like there were others I found myself laughing out loud (probably while looking like a complete jackass) and other scenes where I'm sure I heard my heart break into a million tiny pieces, like the scene Simon walks in and finds Bridget holding a paper she found in the trash. Oh man. Wait until you read that part. Even TinMan's heart would break.

I really don't want to say anything else because truthfully, you HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK. Go in and devour it. A 2017 Top Favorites List book for me! FIVE STARS.

— ABOUT THE AUTHORS —
VI KEELAND
Vi Keeland is a native New Yorker with three children that occupy most of her free time, which she complains about often, but wouldn't change for the world. She is a bookworm and has been known to read her kindle at stop lights, while styling her hair, cleaning, walking, during sporting events, and frequently while pretending to work. She is a boring attorney by day, and an exciting smut author by night!

PENELOPE WARD
Penelope Ward is a New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal Bestselling author. She grew up in Boston with five older brothers and spent most of her twenties as a television news anchor, before switching to a more family-friendly career. She is the proud mother of a beautiful 10-year-old girl with autism and a 9-year-old boy. Penelope and her family reside in Rhode Island.
